The multi platform app that offers tons of resources now offers a messenger as well.

While most people typically think that the world REALLY does not need another form of messenger, sometimes a new one comes along that makes you think, "Well, maybe we really did need something new." You might already have apps like WhatsApp, Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, just to name a few, downloaded onto your phone - so it might seem redundant to offer something new.

Pushbullet is one such unique proposition. This multi-platform app already has a loyal following of fans who use it to "push" files, links, photos, and notifications across their devices and among friends. Like Apple's Continuity, Pushbullet allows you to send and receive SMS messages on your desktop computer without ever touching your phone. If you don't have it and you have an Android, you might want to download it, because you can also use it interchangeably with WhatsApp.

However, unlike some of these other messaging apps, this one is actually user friendly. You can quickly and seamlessly send messages, videos, and pictures without ever leaving the app. You can also edit the image or video to your liking. The new service still does all the things people love about it already like allowing you to copy a link from your PC and then pasting it onto your phone so that you can leave your desk. However, you are now able to separate much of your data so that you won't accidentally send your friend a link to that blender you've been contemplating.

Pushbullet is available as an extension for the Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera browsers, as well as an iOS, Android, and web app.
