Goosebumps, starring Jack Black, Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush, will hit the theaters on October 16

The first trailer of highly anticipated live-action horror comedy film “Goosebumps” has been officially released by Sony Pictures Animation and it is an exciting one indeed where many of the monsters imagined by R.L. Stine over the years are brought into the life for the first time.

Goosebumps is a story of a teenager boy Zach Cooper who just moved from a big city to a small town. He meets a young girl Hannah Stine, living in the house next door. Hannah’s father is the author of famous “Goosebumps” series and his names R.L. Stine who keeps all of the monsters of the series locked up in the books until Zach Cooper unintentionally unleashes them from the manuscript and they began to terrorize the town.

“All the early monsters that are in the books. The all came out; they’re all there. The real evil one is Slappy the Dummy, he’s there, the Abominable Snowman from Pasadena is there, and lawn gnomes, hundreds of lawn gnomes. They’re great, they’re really good.” R.L. Stine said.

Now it’s time for Zach, Hannah and Stine to team up and send the monsters back where they come from before it gets too late.
