Google might be your best friend when it comes to beating the line at the café next time.

On Tuesday Google released a new feature which will allow users to search for the least busy cafes and restaurants. The next time someone is in a rush they might want to consult with Google first. The feature will show users how they can beat the lines for morning coffee at their favorite shops.

The new feature called Location Cards will show the times when a restaurant or café will be the demanding on any given day. The busy time will be shown as ‘popular time’ about a particular restaurant or café. The location cards will also show additional information such as address, phone number and hours related to the restaurant or café.

The feature will be able to report the busy times based on the ‘Historical visits to the place’. In other words the new feature by Google will base its information on reviews and comments collected in accordance to previous activity.

The ‘popular time’ panel also tells the routes to the destination. Direction through roads and foot traffic is also available and the directions are likely to vary every day on an hourly basis. The Location cards will keep it up to date, so the information about routes and timings will keep on changing.

The feature will also show which days of the week are most likely to be the busiest at a particular place, according to GoogleSystem.blogspot. Simply swiping through the feature android users can determine when the best time to visit their favorite place is.

The Location Cards is now available on the Google Android app store. Even Chrome and the safari app on the iOS can access the new feature by Google.
