Samsung will hold a media event on August 13 to unveil the new flagship Galaxy devices. Images already leaked along with Note 5 specifications.

Blass also leaked the key specifications of the new Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920). The new phablet is powered by an Exynos 7420 SoC (4x2.1GHz+4x1.5GHz) 8-core CPU. It will have a 5.66" displayer with 2560x1440px resolution.
4GB RAM and 32GB storage will be the standard. A 16MP camera will do duty on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Again Samsung leaves out the SD card slot.
The Galaxy Note 5 comes with a pen. In the leaked image the Galaxy edge+ and the Note 5 appear to have the same dimensions.
Samsung is going in the offensive with launching new Galaxy devices ahead of the launch of Apple's new iPhone 6S in September. The new Galaxy S6 did not as well as Samsung has hoped. Additionally the company underestimated the popularity of the Galaxy S6 edge.
Fans of the Galaxy phones are up in arms about Samsung adopting hated iPhone features. The new Galaxy phones have no SD card slot and no way to remove the battery.
