It says that the product would work if it got used as per directions. Termed the Honest Company, the firm has Jessica Alba as its co-founder. An SPF-30 sunscreen is manufactured by the organization. But it left users suffering from severe sunburn.
We all know that SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. Many customers who tried the product were burnt from the sun’s rays. They ventured into cyberspace and aired their grievance against the product and the company. It goes without saying that the blame lies on the shoulders of Jessica Alba.
A woman rubbed the product’s contents on her daughter’s skin. She ended up seeing her daughter look like a ripe tomato. She was angry and went to complain on NBC Chicago. Over 200 complaints are registered against the product by now.
As for the company, it made a formal statement. The Honest Company spokesperson said it showed commitment to providing the best products. And it took customer feedback with solemnity. The product was tested by a third party. It was found to be up to the mark. The FDA had given its full approval.
"Protecting our loved ones and yours is the reason we founded @honest. As parents, it pains us to hear that anyone has had a negative experience with our Sunscreen. We develop and use Honest Sunscreen to protect our own children – Honor, Haven, Luke, Evie, and Poppy – at the park, in the pool, outside, every day. As with everything we do, we take sun protection seriously here at Honest." "We have a dedicated team of Honest employees, parents, and partners who carefully reviewed our Sunscreen product to make sure that it meets our highest standards prior to release. Our previous Sunscreen formulation had a 40-minute water resistance and customers told us that it didn’t apply as easily as they would’ve liked. Based on our own experience and consumer feedback, we redesigned our Sunscreen Lotion for 80-minute water resistance and an improved formulation that allows for easier application and a lighter-weight feel," Honest company said in its statement.
"We’ve gone through extensive third-party testing in accordance with government regulations and our Sunscreen Lotion passed all SPF 30 testing requirements. It also received the best score possible from the Environmental Working Group (EWG). We care about taking every precaution possible to ensure that your product experience will keep you healthy and happy."
The company gave the directions for using the sunscreen lotion. The complaints constituted a half percent of 1% of the products sold. Thus it was so small a quantity that it went under the radar. Such whining didn’t make for a case against the sunscreen product.
The complaints may be a flash in the pan but they do exist. And they comprise a series of grudges that may be genuine in their basic premises. Some of the online photographs of men and women show them burnt by the sun’s rays. And this was after using the sunscreen.

They all gave the product the thumbs down. This is like playing with the lives of the users. They may get skin cancer at some later stage of life thanks to this stupid sunscreen that doesn’t work. The company is responsible and ought to admit its mistake instead of acting like a sore loser.
