A new Digitimes report from the Asian supply chain says that Apple plans to release the iPhone 6C in Q2 of 2016. The new iPhone 6C would have chipsets made with the new 14/16nm FinFET technology manufactured by Samsung and TSMC. The new chip technology lowers power consumption.

There is demand for an 4-inch iPhone, but it needs to have up-to-date specifications. It looks like consumers have to wait for a small new iPhone until next year.
