  • Apple releases new Beta version of the iOS 9.

The new version of iOS was only released to developers.

Apple released a new version of the iOS today. The new version is called the iOS 9. Only the beat version of iOS has been released as of yet. The version was released only to developers today for testing,

Reportedly the new version includes many new features such as support for Wi-Fi. Calling for AT&T and Sprint are also included. For a long time cellular carriers have wanted to make calls via Wi-Fi.

The taking of calla through the Wi-Fi takes the pressure off on data networks. Subscribers like the Wi-Fi call service more. The reason is a low cost and increased call reliability, reported 9to5Mac

In the new update for iOS 9 Apple has allowed calls through Wi-Fi. Apple has allowed cellular carrier such as Sprint and AT&T to make calls via Wi-Fi. Both the companies have yet to make an announcement on the update. But they are expected to do so very soon.

In addition to Wi-Fi calling, Apple has added improved feature in iOS 9. A new feature called ‘Wi-Fi assist’ has been introduced. The feature will help the phones when it comes to connecting with Wi-Fi connections.

The feature will prevent the iPhone if it is trying to connect to a poor Wi-Fi. Only if the performance of the Wi-Fi is good the iPhone will be able to connect.

The feature will also prevent a call from switching on the Wi-Fi. It will occur only in the case of a low grade signal. Otherwise the calls can easily be switched.

A certain threshold for the Wi-Fi will  be in effect. The graphic of the new iOS are also more pleasing. 15 new wallpapers have also been added into the iPhone. Minor bug fixes are also included.
