iPhone 6S Will Have 1 GB Of RAM

The leaked photo shows the next iPhone will retain 1 GB RAM just like iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

Everybody is anticipating the release of the iPhone 6S. Most of us are expecting that 6S would have2GB of RAM.

But as indicated by a source asserting to be an Apple designer, we might all not be right.

Switzerland-based Instagram client Fabien Wanner has posted what he guarantees to be a Geekbench 3 screenshot of the new iPhone 6S.

But it uncovers only 1 GB of RAM. This is the same as the current iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Remaining of the Geekbench results looks ordinary.

The iPhone 6S’s OS being iOS 9.0, and an A9 chipset clocking in at 2.0 GHz.

The concerning, and surprising part of the screenshot, is that it shows an available memory of just 989MB, or 1GB of RAM.

Most of the speculations have already suggested that the device will ship with 2GB just like the iPad Air 2.

On the other hand, this Instagram picture does not seem to be accurate at all. The present model iPhone 6 that is a year old, ships with 1GB of RAM locally.

It appears to be exceptionally impossible that a considerable measure of the anticipated data identifying the iPhone 6S sounds like it's going to remain constant.

As usual, we won't formally know until we have some official details, yet something about this benchmark appears to be off.

Although it cannot be said that Wanner is lying. But it is certainly unusual for an Apple developer to post something that should otherwise be locked-down on.

But then again the image seems to have been removed from his account since then. We will only be able to know for sure on September 9.
