iPhone 6S Reservation Ticket from German Telekom Arrived

German Telekom is again offering its customers to reserve an iPhone 6S ahead of the anticipated launch.

You know the new iPhone is near when German Telekom sends out reservation tickets. As in the past couple years, German Telekom offers its customers to "reserve" the new iPhone. The Telekom reservation ticket is not a guarantee to get an iPhone 6S at launch.

It is basically just showing interest. The Telekom is sending out updates via SMS and email as soon as they become available. The Telekom is not even mentioning iPhone 6S anywhere in the reservation service description. The description says that the ticket is giving customers preferred delivery.

I used the reservation service before and when I ordered the new iPhone, the rep would not even ask me about the ticket details.

Customers need to still order as soon as the pre-order starts to be one of the first to receive the iPhone 6S or 6S Plus. The reservation ticket does not help. It has at least not helped in the past. Things always can change.

Getting the pre-order in hours after the pre-order start can quickly translate in weeks of shipping delays.

Some analyst predict that iPhone sales will be flat or even declining in the crucial 4th quarter. If true, which I doubt, will not change the extreme demand at the launch of the iPhone 6S.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6S at a media event on Wednesday, September 9.
