The South Korean automaker has released a concept sketch as a glimpse of the redesigned 2017 Elantra.
Hyundai has redesigned the Elantra. The new version of the compact car will be released in 2017. The Elantra is the bestselling Hyundai car in the US. Hyundai just released a teaser glimpse of the car on Thursday.

Hyundai released a concept sketch of the car. The first look of the Elantra 2017 shows a sleeker exterior than the previous model. The car by Hyundai is slated to compete with other brands mainly Toyota and Honda in the US.
The first physical presentation of the car will occur at the in the US. The car will be revealed for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The concept sketch depicts a sportier and low slung car.
The sketch at the time doe slack door handles and body panel seams. The features were distinct are the Aluminum wheels. The aluminium wheels bring to mind the spinning turbine blades of a jet engine.
Peter Schreyer is the chief design officer at Hyundai Motor Co. According to Schreyer the new subtle and innovative design reflects the Hyundai Motor’s vision. Hyundai has provided no additional information on the features of the new vehicle. It’s safe to say the new model will have all the old features of the Elantra along with some improvisations.

The Elantra is well known for its four-cylinder engine and fuel economy. The latest model will supposedly be better in both aspects. The new Elantra is also expected to feature the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces for smartphones. The 2017 Elantra is expected to boost sales of Hyundai in the US.
