Sony will hold a media event at the IFA 2015 in Berlin on September 2nd. Sony will unveil three new smartphones with the Xperia Z5 line. Specifications have leaked on Facebook.
The IFA in Berlin has grown in importance over the past years for new international product debuts. Sony has chosen IFA 2015 to unveil their new Sony Xperia Z5 smartphones. The rumors have been thin so far on the Xperia Z5, but now a Facebook post in Georgia from an unofficial Sony account revealed astonishing details.

According to the post spotted by @evLeaks, Sony will introduce three Xperia Z5 phones. The Xperia Z5 Compact features a 4.6-inch 720p HD screen, the Xperia Z5 comes with a 5.2 inch screen with 1080p FHD and the Xperia Z5 Premium will have a stunning 5.5 inch screen with 4K 2160p UltraHD.
If true Sony will make a huge splash with a smartphone that has a 4K UltraHD screen.
In April Sharp announced a 5.5 inch 4K display based on IGZO. This 4K smartphone display has since been in hiding. This is probably the display Sony is using in the Xperia Z5 Premium.
The Xperia Z5 will also have a top end camera. The Georgian Facebook post says that there will be 23MP camera with a super-fast 0.1-second hybrid 192 "PDAF" autofocus, F1.8 aperture and 1 / 2.2-inch sensor size and improved image stabilization.
Sony has teased on their UK Twitter account that there is a smartphone coming with "greater focus." This supports the above claim of a high-end camera.
While Georgian Sony Facebook account is not official, Evan Blass has Tweeted that the leaked specification of the Xperia Z5 match what he heard.
Earlier this month images of the Xperia Z5 leaked at @vizileaks. It is not clear if those are legit.
French NowWhereElse also posted photos earlier this week with alleged Xperia Z5 photos
