Huawei is ready to announce the first Android phone to support Force Touch
IFA is nearly upon us. Huawei has recently teased a part of its announcement for IFA. The company is planning to uncover Mate S phone.
A couple of images from nowhereelse have leaked that show the design of the phone. They also confirm the name to be Mate S.
The phone supports some enhanced top of the line specifications and new Incredible Touch, otherwise known as Force Sense, touchscreen technology.
This Force Touch technology is said to be the new feature with the Mate S. It will allow pressure sensitive interactions with the phone's display.
It is not clear what Huawei has planned for this technology. But we will most likely see some new UI components or gesture shortcuts.
In light of the teasers, "knocking" will likewise have something to do with it. About hardware specifications, the most recent rumor points to a slightly smaller 5.7-inch display than the Mate7's 6-inch panel.
The resolution will be 1080p.The phone will be controlled by a Kirin 935 SoC and 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The phone will accompany a 20 megapixel back camera and a 8 megapixel front camera.
The leaked pictures also show familiar design and rear fingerprint scanner placement. The pictures appear very similar to the phone that leaked back at the beginning of August.
Huawei is going to unveil Mate S tomorrow. So we will be able to know all the official details soon.
