As a result of the acquisition, Time Warner Cable will gain more than 540 Ford trucks. The 2015 F-150 trucks by Ford are more lightweight than the previous F-150 models. The lighter weight increases the towing and payload capacity.
The new trucks also have an improved power to weight ratio. The trucks also claim a 29 percent better fuel efficiency than the previous model.
The truck is ideal for 90 percent of light-duty truck customers. The truck comes with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost which gives about 325 horsepower. The 2015 model is probably the toughest and smartest Ford truck yet.
The new trucks have also set the standard for technology. TWC drivers will use the F-150 trucks to transport equipment for installing and servicing. Services for Internet, TV and phone will be provided to the customer’s home.
The F-150 trucks have a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. The Auto Start-Stop technology has also been included. The feature shuts off the engine when the vehicle is at a stop. It gives drivers power on demand. On releasing brake the engine restarts.
