How can an Australian police department afford a $270,000 supercar? They can't. New South Wales Police (NSW) has told news.com.au that the McLaren is a donation. The car is part of charity project that raises money for the families of fallen police.
This is not the first supercar that the NSW Police has in their car park. They also got donated Audi RS4 and a Porsche Panamera.
The new Police McLaren 650S will debut at the Bathurst 1000 touring car race held at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales. The Bathurst 2015 takes place on October 8-11.
