  • Ares and Circe are the two villains that could be seen against Wonder Woman.

Eva Green and Sean Bean are reportedly up for being casted as villains in Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman that is not going to be released until June 2017 will start principal photography this fall. Gal Gadot will be starring as Wonder Woman and the movie is going to be directed by Patty Jenkins. Gadot is also said to be appearing in Zack Snyder’s Justice League Part One.

Now as you know that filming will start in just a couple of months fans are eager to know the cast. We all know that Gadot and Chris Pine are officially on board but whom else! WB has revealed the options it is eyeing to play the movie’s villain.

The studio is looking to star Eva Green and Sean Bean to the cast as well, according to Screen Rant. Green if signed will play Circe the Sorceress while Bean would bring Ares, the God of War to life. Now we need to keep in mind that these two are only being eyed for the roles. This is different from being in negotiations or receiving an offer.

Green has proved her ability as a villain in last year’s 300: Rise of an Empire. She played the ruthless and intimidating Artemisia. Bean is also well known, showing his talent in names such as The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.

Now if even one of the villains appears in the movie it will be a tough competition for Wonder Woman. Both have many deadly abilities that would be a huge challenge for the Amazonian warrior. So there are many possibilities for Jenkins to explore even if only one of the villains appears in the film.
