The report from iFixit confirmed that iPad mini 4 has 2 GB RAM. This amount of RAM is better and it ensures better performance for the system.
The device is 1.4mm thinner than its predecessor; iPad mini 3. It has round speaker ports similar to the iPad Pro and iPad Air 2.
The mini tablet has a completely covered retina display. This change in display is meant to provide users with a quality visual experience.
The most important part of this teardown is the knowledge related to battery. The iPad mini 4 has a small 5,124mAh single cell battery.
Apple says that the battery can be utilized for ten hours straight on Wi-Fi models or nine hours for cellular versions.
This is definitely a plus point for the iPad Mini 4 because smaller battery means slim appearance and the drop of capacity from 6,471mAh (iPad mini 3) is also intriguing.
The tablet is powered by the A8 chip. It has an 8MP iSight camera and Touch ID module integrated into the display cable.
Apple’s iPad Mini 4 received 2/10 for the reparability rating. Finally, Mini 4 will be available at a price of $399 for a Wi-Fi model and 16GB storage.
