According to the police Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani belongs to the ruling family of Qatar and has left the US.
A speeding Ferrari was caught racing with a white Porsche on the streets of Beverly Hills. The Police investigated the incident and found the racer was a Sheikh from Qatar. The Sheikh has been identified as Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani.

Thani belongs to the family ruling the Middle Eastern country of Qatar. The police revealed the idetitiy of the racer at a press conference. Al Thani is known for his fascination with sports cars.
Al Thani also owns a champion drag racing team, according to THR. The Ferrari has also been identified as a bright yellow 12-cylinder LaFerrari. The Ferrari is reportedly worth $1.4 million.
A complaint was filed at the Qatari consulate through the U.S. State Department. No charges have been filed as of yet because the identity of the driver is not rock solid. However Al Thani has reportedly fled the country and returned to Qatar.
Al Thani has also taken his Ferrari along with him to his home country. The issue gained prominence when a video of a Ferrari recklessly driving on the streets of Beverly Hills emerged. The Ferrari has been racing against a white Porsche ignoring all stop signs.
Later the Ferrari was seen pulling in a driveway with smoke coming out of the engine. The Ferrari was caught racing on the small street cameras. The video footage does not clearly show the face of the driver.

According to the BHPD Chief, the press conference was called to gain more video evidence from local witnesses. Dominick Rivetti is the Beverly Hills Police Department chief. The chief also revealed Al Thani spoke to them and denied speeding. Al Thani also allegedly claimed he has diplomatic immunity.
