This year Black Friday will bring a wide choice of tablet deals including Windows 10 tablets.
Windows 10 is the new kid on the block this Black Friday sales season. This does not mean that there will be no deep discounts on Windows 10 devices. Windows 10 is now on over 110 million devices, but this is far from satisfying for Microsoft. The company pushes Windows 10 into all kinds of platforms. The goal is to reach 1 billion Windows 10 installations in the 2 to 3 years.

One important market to reach this goal are Windows 10 tablets priced under $100. These low cost tablets came to the market first last year with Windows 8.1. The first Windows 10 tablets for under $100 started to go on sale. We expect many more from the brands that already offered Windows 8.1 tablets including Nextbook and possibly also HP. The company had a popular low-cost line introduced last year with HP Stream laptops and tablets. HP has not yet announced a HP Stream devices with Windows 10.
Walmart in the meantime already sells the first Windows 10 tablet for $87.83. The Vulcan Electronics Journey VTA0703 has Windows 10 pre-installed. The 7-inch bargain Windows 10 tablet features a touchscreen with 1024,600px, 1.83Ghz Intel Atom Quad-core CPU, 1GB DDR3 RAM, Wi-fi, 2MP camera (rear), 0.3MP camera (front) and 16GB SSD.
The Vulcan Electronics Journey VTA0703 comes with 1-year subscription of Microsoft Office 365.
The Vulcan Electronic Windows 10 tablet is just the beginning. We expect the announcement of new low-end Windows 10 tablets in the next weeks. Consumers will have the choice between bargain Android tablets with deals bottom out at basically $0 (after mail-in rebate), Amazon Fire Tablets starting at $49 reg. price and Windows 10 bargain tablets with deals dipping below $50.
The Apple iPad deals will be featured in most Black Friday 2015 ads, but prices are far above the bargain tablet segment. The lowest price on an iPad we expect to see this year is $149 on an iPad mini. Last year the best iPad mini deal was $249 iPad mini with $80 Gift Card. The current best deal on the iPad mini is $199. The iPad mini is not part anymore of the Apple iPad line-up, but still is on sale at retailers like Walmart.
