The first ever balloon space flight is being tested and it is planned for launch as a manned private space flight in 2017.
The schedule set for the first global balloon space flight is to progress without any hitches whatsoever. A private space agency in Tucson, Arizona has already accomplished a feat of space engineering.

The first flight test has occurred without any hitches. The spacecraft used in this space-testing (so to say) was one tenth the size of the original that will eventually get launched. The miniature model reached a height of 100,475 feet which is not bad by normal standards of space flight.
If the scientists’ plans go as per schedule, the real flight will be a viable idea. It will take place in actuality and may even have a commercial upshot in the future. Bringing the balloon space flight close to the virtual edge of our atmosphere has been a dream that will get fulfilled soon.
Termed the Karman Line, the border is a crucial and vital separating factor between outer space and our earth’s noosphere. It lies about 100 km above sea level. Most weather balloons reach a height of 39 km before spontaneously bursting into shreds due to the near vacuum state in that rarefied air up above so high. But the fact of the matter is that even reaching a mere 39 km requires quite some ingenuity on the part of the scientists.
The actual full-scale space balloon is about the size of a football stadium. The tests are supposed to last the time span of a year. Any flaws or faults will be checked and rectified during this period. The model flight will ensure that the final precarious journey is a dead cert and doesn’t face any functional problems in its duration in the atmosphere-space zone.
The beginning of commercial space flights on the space balloon will be two years from now. This will be an ideal opportunity for anyone with some cash and a whole lot of passion to explore the edges of our atmosphere where the real changes in conditions are extant.
The flights will be launched from Page, Arizona. This is where the trials are also supposed to take place. It will be seen to that the final safe passage to the edge will be a very comfortable and placid journey.

The flight personnel will be in charge of steering the large space balloon. As for the tickets, they will cost $75,000 per person. So those who are enthusiasts for such stuff better start saving their dollars and cents starting from the present moment.
