John Oliver was the first to comment on the Republican Presidential candidate who then called the show boring and waste of time and energy but the show quickly cleared up his claims.
It’s no surprise that many people do not actually like the Apprentice host and multimillionaire, Donald Trump running for President. His candidacy and his campaign, both have been widely speculated on and criticized throughout all forums of media.

The HBO’s Last Week Tonight host John Oliver started a dispute when he appeared in a morning show. When asked if he would have Trump on his show, he commented on his Twitter that he was not interested in having Trump on his show. His reasons were then clarified later on.
According to Oliver, Trump is an open book with no secrets to be revealed. He said that Trump has no internal monologue which would reveal anything to the world that it doesn’t already know.
Donald Trump took the time off this weekend to update his social media forum saying that he had been approached by Last Week Tonight show’s team. He said that he found the show boring and low-rated.
He added that being on the show would be ‘waste of time and energy’. Whether it was an intended insult to go to Oliver and the show or the truth, the Last Week Tonight was quick to tell the truth behind Trump’s claim of being invited.
On Sunday, the 38-year-old Daily Show alum retweeted a post from the show's account, which aimed to clear the air on two points. 1. Yes, we have a boring show. 2. At no point did we invite Donald Trump to appear on it," the account wrote.

So that was Mr. Trump being replied right back in his face. Why he told everyone he had been invited, no one really knows. It might have been the pretext to throw some insults at Oliver but it seems to have failed.
