The Navara was produced using the same Crossover DNA that produced the Qashqai, X-Trail and Juke. The NP300 Navara offers a new level of car-like refinement, style and comfort. The Navara is the first in its class to offer technologies in pick-ups.
The Navara comes with an all new coil-spring five-link rear suspension system. The system is present in the Double Cab model, providing significantly improved ride comfort. The Navara is also 20kg lighter than the previous model.
The new under-slung leaf weighs 7kgs less than the previous over-slung design. The latest Navara has a turning circle of 12.4m due to a reduction in wheelbase of 50mm.
The Navara NP300 introduces an array of new in-car technology. The Navara has both Around View Monitor (AVM) and Forward Emergency Braking (FEB). The features are unique to the pick-up market.
The features also provide the customers with more advanced levels of technology. The braking system has also been updated with an electronic limited slip differential (eLSD). The system uses braking sensors that constantly monitor wheel speed. The system improves traction and cornering balance.

Ponz Pandikuthira, Director for LCVs, Nissan Europe, said: “Personalisation is taking the automotive industry by storm. Customers have increasingly varied and specialised practicality and styling expectations from their vehicles, whether they are buying for business or leisure. Owners want their personal cars to reflect their own sense of identity and style, while their business cars need to conform to their brand’s identity and act as an impactful form of on-the-road advertising.”
