The trailer of the highly anticipated ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’ is finally here. The trailer sees the return of the entire Portokalos family. This time it is the older Partokalos generation which has to walk down the aisle.
The trailer also shows the wedding for the senior Portokalos is bigger and Greeker than ever. The trailer for the sequel of the highly anticipated 2002 romantic comedy was released on Wednesday. The trailer was released on the Today Show by the scribe star Nia Vardalos.
The trailer shows the return of the Toula played Nia Vardalos and her husband Ian. John Corbett returns as Ian the non-Greek husband of Toula. The couple is shown trying to navigate Greek life, their mixed marriage and parenthood.
The couple’s college aged daughter Paris is also shown. Paris is played by Elena Kampouris. It seems Paris is trying to put some distance between her family and herself. Paris is readying herself to leave the family by going to a college across the country.
Throughout all this we discover Toula’s orthodox Greek parents were never actually married. The priest who officiated their wedding forgot to sign their wedding license. The scene stealing older couple Gus and Maria Portokalos return for their actual wedding.

In one of the scene’s Maria asked Toula who says a woman has to be married. To which Toula expertly replies Toula has been all her life. The film also shows the return of the sharp-tongued aunt Voula and brothers Nick and Angelo. The film is lasted to hot theatres on the 25th of March 2016.
