  • Jennifer Lawrence spills beans on what’s current and what’s to come in life

Jennifer Lawrence talks about her movies and her personal life in a recent interview with Vogue.

Jennifer Lawrence has made her own mark in a short time of 5 years in Hollywood. Rising up with her role in the indie movie, Winter’s Bone. After that she has made some smart choices and played some iconic roles such as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games franchise which has made her a known figure throughout the world. With an Oscar win with her role in Silver Linings Playbook and her Golden Globe win from American Hustle, she has already become an A-list actress.

After 5 years, Jennifer’s fast paced career is coming to a break. Both the franchises that were taking up a major part of her professional life have come to an end. Hunger Games and X-Men in which she plays Mystique, are featuring the last movies in the franchises.

The last part of the Hunger Games, Mocking Jay Part 2 and the last part of the X-Men are soon to be released worldwide. Jennifer is also looking forward to the release of her upcoming movie “Joy” with director David O. Russell.

In an interview with Vogue magazine where she hung out with the correspondent at her new home that she recently bought for $8 million. The house was previously owned by Jessica Simpson.

The house is a convincingly faux-Tuscan villa, with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, a theater, and a hair-and-makeup room. Jennifer said that she is starting everything from scratch. She said that she had employed the designer and furnishing from her hometown.

A store she used to frequent when she was a child, Bittners was where all the furniture has been bought. She admits that it makes her feel comfortable and classy. She has also got some great neighbors. She lives a few blocks away from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis live two doors away. She says that she has become a frequent visitor to their home and even an unannounced one.

She also elaborated the story of how she came across her dog Pippi during her nude photo scandal. She also talked about her friendship with Amy Schumer. Throughout the interview, Jennifer talked with exuberance and freedom that might be the effect of being with Schumer all the time. Jen also made great friends with Kris Jenner when she showed up at Jen’s birthday with a cake shaped like poop.

Speaking of friends, Jennifer said that she rarely gets asked out. Even with her break up with co-star Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay’s Chris Martin have not improved her dating life. She says that the men that do ask her out know her and try to dominate her.

"No one ever asks me out. I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me," Lawrence said. "I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow."

She joked that she would at this point date a guy who had been living in Baghdad and didn’t know her. She has not been disheartened though. She believes that with the right man, who understands her and I compassionate about their relationship, she is considering getting married in the near future and having a family. Surely her stay at the house which she was renting during filming Passengers with Chris Pratt had a role to play in this decision.

The house was rented before Jennifer by Jennifer Garner. Garner rented the house post-divorce from Affleck and she stayed there with her kids while she shot Miracles from Heaven. Jennifer says that she found small plastic spoons in drawers and Cheerios and she has been meaning to email her.

Her decision to star in Passengers came after reading the script. Her work relation with Russell has become somewhat a legend. Recently when a rumor got around that she had a row with the director, she said she did.

They were practically shouting at one another, she said. Russell, she says, treats her no different than he would treat a man. She would not be mean to anyone who was not mean to her she says. David believes in her acting ability and they understand each other by now to work out their differences openly.
