The Wall Street Journal reports that the Super Bowl 50 Halftime act is Coldplay.
Coldplay is a British band, but the Super Bowl Halftime Show is an international event. Coldplay is great live band. It will be a great Halftime Show.

Over 120 million people are expected to watch the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. Today, December 3, the NFL and Pepsi will announce the Super Bowl 50 Halftime act. The announcement will be made live on Television during the NFL game Green Bay Packers versus Detroit Lions.
The game kicks off at 8:25pm ET on CBS and NFL network. When exactly the Halftime Show announcement will be made has not been revealed. Obviously Halftime is a fitting slot to make the big reveal.
