4-year-old Remote Controls a Volvo Truck

Volvo has put out another incredible creative commercial.

Volvo Trucks are tough. How to proof that a truck is really tough? You hand a remote control to a 4-year-old and let her drive the truck around a gravel pit. Little Sophie showed a lot of talent in show casing how tough the new Volvo FMX truck is. She turns it over and drives it through a building. The Snap above shows her right after she demolished a building. I believe she had a lot of fun driving a full-sized truck.

Watch Sophie's wild truck ride in the video below.

Volvo set up this live test to demonstrate the sturdiness and mobility of the Volvo FMX. A unique cage construction, cast-iron front plus corners and skid-plate of high-grade steel make this a very tough truck. Thanks to Automatic Traction Control, a new feature that automatically engages the front axle when you need it, the FMX is not getting stuck.

The weirdest truck commercial to date was filmed in Serbia on a closed-off gravel pit, with all buildings empty, locked and sealed. The remote control used by Sophie was specially made for this film. Highly sensitive, the compact RC unit provided access to steering, accelerator, gearshift and brakes. In case you wonder, the sound track is from Teddybears, Cobrastyle.

Volvo Trucks landed a huge viral hit back in 2013 with the Epic split commercial starring Jean-Claude Van Damm. Volvo Trucks should consider advertising in the Super Bowl. The Swedish know what it takes to succeed there.
