The Super Bowl City will be presented by Verizon and the carrier is also the official Wireless Service Provider of the NFL and Super Bowl 50.
Verizon announced today that the carrier will be the presenting sponsor of Super Bowl City, the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee's free public fan village celebrating the Super Bowl 50. The Host Committee has also designated Verizon as its Official Wireless Service and Solutions Provider.

"Super Bowl City presented by Verizon" will be the hot spot for Superbowl fans during Super Bowl Week, January 30 – February 7, 2016.

Centered in Justin Herman Plaza, on the Embarcadero at the foot of San Francisco's famed Market Street, Super Bowl City is being designed to showcase the best the Bay Area has to offer, with interactive games and activities that highlight the region's technological prowess, culinary excellence and cultural diversity, as well as celebrate Super Bowl 50 and the Bay Area's place in NFL history.

In a break from tradition, Super Bowl City will be open for an extra weekend this year, providing many local residents the opportunity to experience the excitement of Super Bowl 50 before out-of-town guests arrive.
Both Super Bowl City and the NFL Experience will open Saturday, January 30 – with the day's activities topped off by the official re-lighting of the iconic Bay Lights on the Willie L. Brown, Jr. Bay Bridge.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.
CBS is the lucky TV network to broadcast Super Bowl 50. The Super Bowl 2016 game will be preceded by a weeklong series of public events held throughout the Bay Area.
