A PayPal Super Bowl commercial is joining the Super Bowl 50 Ad line-up. Today the company announced its first major brand campaign as an independent company, PayPal Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq:PYPL).

PayPay will air a 45-second Super Bowl ad during the 1st quarter of Super Bowl 50. This will be the first Super Bowl commercial ever for PayPal.

Super Bowl 50 will take place in the heart of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco 49ers Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where PayPal is also located.
“This ad is more than a commercial – it’s our opportunity to introduce the world to PayPal’s vision for the future of money – to empower people and businesses to move and manage money securely, efficiently and affordably,” said Greg Fisher, PayPal Vice President of Global Brand Marketing. “The launch of this ad is just the beginning of our new brand campaign designed to start a larger conversation about a reimagined financial world that must include everyone.”
The PayPal Super Bowl 50 commercial was created by CP+B LA. No details about the content of the PayPal Super Bowl Ad have been revealed at this time.
At PayPal (Nasdaq: PYPL) was founded in 1998 by Peter Thiel, Elon Musk and others. Last year the company processed 4 billion payments, of which 1 billion were made on mobile devices.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.
