The 4.0-liter engine for Urus will not be featured in any of Lamborghini's vehicles.
Lamborghini is arranging to fix a V8 into the Urus sport utility vehicle. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine has been developed specially for the Urus vehicle. Although Lamborghini will be offering the engine for Urus, the V8 will not be featured in its own vehicles.
The engine will not make its way into the Italian firm's supercars. The engine with forced-induction has been exclusively developed for Urus. Previously the Huracán used a naturally aspirated V10 and the Aventador used a V12.
Stephan Winkelmann is the CEO of Urus. According to Winkelmann Urus is the only model by Lamborghini powered by the turbo eight. Winkelmann also shared with Autocar that the naturally aspirated engines are still the right ones for Urus. They have made their choice and will stick by it.
The choice seems the right one for them and they will keep by it. In future there might be engines to beat the current V8 but right now it seems like the very best. Currently there is no engine better than the V8.
Although rivals have embraced turbocharging, Lamborghini is staying true to the naturally aspirated engines. The engines come with two-digit cylinder counts.

Especially Ferrari and McLaren have featured new turbo-charged V8 engines. Winkelmann then stated the V8 is an opportunity for them. Another new model later may have more improvements.
