Amazon today announced that Amazon Original Series The Man in the High Castle, recently renewed for a second season, is the most-streamed original show ever by Prime members globally.

The show broke a previous record set by Amazon Original Series Bosch, which is launching its second season next year.
Based on the award-winning book by Philip K. Dick, developed by Frank Spotnitz and Executive Produced by Scott Free Productions’ Ridley Scott and David Zucker, along with Isa Dick Hackett, the The Man in the High Castle is available exclusively on Amazon Prime.
“We’re very proud of this outstanding series created by Frank Spotnitz, Scott Free and Isa Dick Hackett, which Amazon customers around the world have enthusiastically embraced, and we look forward to the second season,” said Roy Price, Vice President, Amazon Studios. “We hoped that once again bringing together the work of Philip K. Dick and the vision of Ridley Scott – who brought us the classic film Blade Runner – would help deliver on our promise of creating some of the best television in the world for Prime customers, and we believe that it has.”
Amazon has not revealed any specific numbers. There is no way of telling what it means in terms of viewership to be Amazon Prime's most streamed show. How does it compare to the #1 show on Netflix?
The Man in The High Castle stars Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank, Rufus Sewell, Rupert Evans, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Joel de la Fuente and DJ Qualls. The show is available in US, UK, Germany, and Austria – only on Amazon Prime.
Prime members can stream all 10 episodes of The Man in The High Castle right now. I have to admit that I have not watched the series yet. Now that Amazon says that its the most popular it is getting about time to watch it before Season 2 will be released.
If you are not a Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial at amazon.com/prime.
