John Chen, BlackBerry CEO, has recently hinted that a second Android phone from the company can strike the market in 2016.

The CEO also said in the statement to BloomBerg that the focus of the company, for most of the time, would remain on high-tech and high-budget Smartphones.
But, John did not exactly nullify the fact that the company can produce a mid-ranged device for the public too.
In his statement, he elaborated that the situation depends upon the famous Priv.
If the Priv breaks the previous BlackBerry sales records, which it somehow is, than the company would continue focusing on the high-end Smartphones.
The focus would shift to normal priced smartphones in 2016. All of the information was revealed during his interview with Bloomberg.
John didn’t reveal some specific quarter, Month or launch date of the alleged upcoming device.
The answer for this question was also that it solely depends on how Priv performs.
BlackBerry Priv is expected to land in 31 countries around the globe in the next 3 months.
Currently, the device is available in four countries. For those who don’t know rumors and speculations have already made their place across the web that there would be a second Android smartphone from the company.

The rumored codename is supposed to be Vienna. The renders have also surfaced from time to time, showing that it is going to have a typical BlackBerry design.
