Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2016 Video Stars Michel Gaubert and His Puppet Alter Ego

German car maker Mercedes-Benz released an amazingly weird video promoting the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Watch below.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2016 takes place Jan. 19-22, 2016 in Berlin. Like last year, Mercedes-Benz released an short film ahead of the famous fashion show to promote it.

Last year's very stylish film titled "A Fistful of Wolves" featured the very rare Mercedes C111 and Justin O’Shea, buying director at online fashion store, as well as the Chipperfield brothers and fashion editors Veronika Heilbrunner and Julia Knolle.

This year's short-film is weird in a cool and fun way. It stars Michel Gaubert, sound director for high-end fashion shows including those of Karlk Lagerfeld, Oscar de la Renta, Jil Sander and more.

The video tells the story of his relationship to his personal puppet assistant, who looks like a mini me and is called Petit Michel.

Mercedes tag line for the video says "To have your personal Puppet Assistant might be the next big thing to have in fashion."

In the video Michel Gaubert sends his little puppet to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Autumn/Winter 2016, to represent the real Michel Gaubert.

The car featured in the film is the very classic Mercedes-Benz 1970 280SEL.
