LG sold about 15.3 million Smartphones in the October-December period, says the financial report of the company released for the Quarter 4, 2015.

If we add up collections from all the quarters, LG Electronics sold 59.7 million units in whole for 2015. If we compare the figures of this year to 2014, the sum is a little more than 59.1 million units sold. Out of the 15.3 million units that were sold by LG in the previous quarter, about 11 million units were the LTE models.vThis means that it is the first time that the South Korean company has been capable of selling more than 10 million LTE powered cell phones.
The mobile division of LG also reported revenue of 3.78 trillion KRW ($3.26 billion) in Quarter 4.vThe figure was 12% more than the sales compared to the Quarter 3 for 2015. However, it was 0.4% less than when compared to year-on-year sale.
The company also reported that, the loss of Quarter 4 is at 140.4 billion KRW ($117 million).
The figures are decreased from the 205.6 billion, LG Electronics reported in the same quarter, 2014.

All in all, the total income of the company for 2015 was 249.1 billion KRW, which is 50.3% less when compared to 2014.
