  • The 2016 Cadillac CT6 to make red carpet debut at the Oscars!

It will be the second year in a row that the Academy Awards will feature the Cadillac as its choice of vehicle.

The Academy Awards are to take place next month. The all-American vehicle to be the vehicle of choice at the Oscars will be Cadillac. This will be the second year in a row Cadillac has been chosen for the honour.

A number of celebrities arriving on the red carpet will come in a Cadillac. Cadillac will also unveil a new ad for the Oscars featuring its most ambitious vehicle yet. The vehicle is the 2016 Cadillac CT6.

The premium luxury sedan will challenge the Teutonic trio that has long dominated. The Cadillac CT6 will rival the BMW 7-series, Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8, according to USAToday

Cadillac will focus on Hollywood’s big night as part of a strategy. Cadillac will focus on the East and West coasts where 40 percent of luxury sales are made. The strategy consists of relocating Cadillac’s headquarters from Detroit to New York.

The Cadillac CT6 aims to out-engineer the German-makers. The CT6 allegedly has the most advanced, lightest, best-handling chassis in its class. The Cadillac CT6 will be available in the market by early March 2016, shortly after the Oscars.

The Cadillac CT6 is as part of an ambitious, $12 billion product venture. The investment by Cadillac will deliver eight new models to showrooms by 2020. The CT6 was built on an all-new Omega platform.

The CT6 uses a combination of steel and aluminum castings with sophisticated bonding techniques. The CT6 also contains 20 percent fewer parts than previous Cadillac’s. The CT6 only weighs 3,657 pounds. The CT6 will come with a price tag of starting at $53,495.
