To spice up the Super Bowl 50 in northern California and throughout the Bay Area, FedEx has delivered an iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy to the NFL Experience driven by Hyundai ahead of the Big Game – safe and on time.

FedEx is the Official Delivery Service Sponsor of the NFL and the Super Bowl.
“Every day, more than 340,000 FedEx team members around the globe help deliver a wide variety of special packages to our customers,” said Patrick Fitzgerald, senior vice president, Integrated Marketing and Communications at FedEx. “It’s an honor for FedEx to deliver the iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy to football fans in the Bay Area in advance of Super Bowl 50.”
The hardware trophy was handcrafted at Tiffany & Co and made of sterling silver – depicting a football on a pyramid-like base with the words “Vince Lombardi Trophy” and “Super Bowl 50” with the NFL shield inscribed onto its base. A 5 and 0 gold plate is set behind the trophy to commemorate this historic Super Bowl.
The one-of-a-kind trophy was brought in a FedEx Express zero-emission all-electric vehicle to indicate the company’s EarthSmart program which reinforces FedEx’s commitment to environmental concerns in areas where it operates.
Players, fans, and coaches around the Bay Area can personally see the trophy at NFL Experience and at pro football’s interactive theme park at the Moscone Center. The trophy will be handed over to either Denver Broncos or Carolina Panthers on February 7 for winning the Super Bowl championship for the 2015 NFL season.
