Supposedly, a North Korean satellite flew directly over the Super Bowl when it was near its end. This raised some speculation among government agencies.
The Super Bowl was much more than football passes this time around. The biggest action during or rather at the end of the Super Bowl came about when a North Korean satellite passed directly over the Levi’s Stadium.

This was the newest space vehicle that North Korea possessed. And an hour after the end of the Super Bowl, the satellite hovered above the stadium. The American aerospace command NORAD confirmed that there are currently two North Korean satellites in orbit around the earth.
The satellites are termed Kwanmyongsong which means Shining Star in Korean. Normally they take 94 minutes to complete an orbit, according to DigitalTrends. Various global agencies have been closely watching these satellites.
One of the satellites passed over Silicon Valley. The stadium where the Super Bowl was held was directly underneath the satellite. The time was 8:26 pm. Although this might just be a lucky chance of sorts, it is interesting and intriguing to say the least.
North Korea has already managed to launch four satellites. And even though NORAD has labelled at least one of them as benign, one never knows the intentions and designs that one nation, and that too a rogue nation, may carry regarding a superpower like the United States.
Pyongyang, the capital and seat of the North Korean government has clearly stated that the satellites are purely for scientific observation purposes. They weigh 220 pounds each.
Their major functions are the tracking and charting of weather patterns and natural resources respectively. This is so that farming facilities in North Korea can be progressively enhanced.
Also weather forecasting demands are met via this process of satellite surveillance. The erstwhile satellite relayed signals that repeated songs singing the praises of the two dictators (father and son) that have ruled North Korea.
However, there is no proof of this outside of the nation of North Korea. There is indeed an air of mystery surrounding the satellites and this is cause for alarm among the Yanks.
The satellite will remain in orbit whether it is functional or not. Even if it sent any signals, now it seems to be defunct for all purposes.
