According to the company, they are feeling the "Beyoncé Bounce."
The budget seafood chain, which known for Lobsterfest and the always delicious cheddar bay biscuits, said that sales rose 33% on Sunday from the same time a year ago. The upward kick comes after Beyoncé sang that she takes a man to Red Lobster after sex. Red Lobster believes there is no other reason their sales could have increased that much.
This is, no doubt, a great improvement for the restaurant after sales slid and the company was sold by Darden Restaurants in July 2014 - though they have been on the way back for some time.
Still, Red Lobster was a trending topic on Twitter for the first time just moments after the song was released.
"It's clear that Beyoncé has helped create some Red Lobster fans, and we are very grateful to her for that," Red Lobster CEO Kim Lopdrup said in a statement.
According to ABC News, Erica Ettori, a Red Lobster representative, said she could not "confirm or deny" whether the chain has reached out to superstar, but noted that things were "moving fast."
