Netflix dropped the one minute long promo for the fourth season of the show and it is one hell of a ride indicating what we’re in for this season.
The promo includes glimpses of the White House and we can expect both the Underwoods at each other’s throats after Claire left Frank in the last season to run against him in the Presidential campaign.
Frank is giving a voice over that expresses what is going through his mind about Claire this season. In his words, Frank thinks that you (we guess it’s Claire) has no idea what it’s like to have nothing. She doesn’t value what they had achieved. Frank had to fight for everything his entire life.
Meanwhile we see some intense confrontations between the duo, scenes from their campaigns and intense thinking moments which then turn to more intense scenes with umber music while we see a multitude of characters we’ll be seeing this season including the recurring cast and some new faces as well. Some gun action and some lip locks here and there.
The returning cast members are Mahershala Ali as Remy Danton, Molly Parker as Jackie Sharp and Lars Mikkelsen as Viktor Petrov. New cast members joining the ranks are Ellen Burstyn, Joel Kinnaman and Neve Campbell.
At the end we are left with the Underwoods. As Claire says that she saw a future, their future and we see someone sitting in a Presidential limo and we can only assume its Claire while Frank looks on intently and then Frank says, “We had a future until you started destroying it”.
