For 2016 BMW seems to have five different showcases for the upcoming 86th Geneva Motor Show.

First off BMW will be releasing the new BMW M760Li xDrive. The latest addition to the 7th series will raise the bar in the sporting luxury sedan segment for BMW.

The vehicle contains the first ever M Performance TwinPower Turbo 12-cylinder petrol engine. The engine generates 441 kW and 600 horsepower. The vehicle can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. 

Secondly BMW will introduce the new iPerformance model designation. The designation will be given to all BMW plug-in hybrid vehicles from July 2016.

The designation will be seen first on the plug-in hybrid variants of the new BMW 7 Series. For example the designation will be given to the BMW 740e iPerformance.

The iPerformance models will benefit from the designation. The designation will add electric motors, battery cells and electronic control systems to the models. Telling characteristics will be the BMW i logo on the front side panel and an eDrive logo on the C-pillar. 

Thirdly BMW will present the BMW M Performance Parts. The wide variety of components will be available for the compact high-performance sports machine.

Fourthly the BMW i8 Protonic Red Edition special-edition model will be presented. The showcase will highlights the BMW i success on various fronts.

Lastly the BMW ConnectedDrive will present the On-Street Parking Information intelligent function. The function will helps drivers to locate a free parking space quickly.
