Ashley Graham is one of the most famous plus-sized models on the planet. She is though not the only plus-sized model in the Swim 2016. Robyn Lawley is back as well. The plus-sized label is controversial as such. Robyn Lawley is actively fighting the label. She says it sends the wrong message to women. It suggests something is wrong with them she said in a recent interview. The problem is that people and the media love to use labels. Robyn Lawley in any case does not quite fit into plus-sized category.
Lawley appeared already last year in the swimsuit edition. Ashley Graham was also featured in the 2015 Swimsuit edition, but in an advertisement.
The 26-year-old Australian model has a new hot swimsuit spread in this year's swimsuit issue. Lawley is happy to leave the rookie status behind her. She wrote on Facebook: "2 years running baby!!!! Very excited to announce my no longer rookie status!!! And the fact that I can actually be at the launch (having a baby last year!!!) and meet you guys in New York and Miami !!!"
