The V90 is the latest vehicle by Volvo to push into the European luxury vehicle segment.
The 2017 Volvo V90 was recently released. The V90 is the latest addition to the Volvo's 90 series of large, luxury vehicles. The 2017 V90 premium wagon will join the XC90 SUV and the S90 sedan.

The new Volvo line-up will be at the forefront of the Swedish automaker. The wagon contains the same Volvo Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform present in other 90 series cars.
The wagon will also be offered with the T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid powertrain. According to Volvo the V90 is capable of producing 410 horsepower.
The V90 can also go up to 31 miles of pure electric range driving range on a full charge. Volvo also stated the V90 T8 engine is more powerful than the 2016 XC90 T8 engine.
The V90 will also boast better hybrid efficiency beyond the battery's range. However the official mpg estimates of the wagon are still to be announced.
Volvo also mentioned the V90 will come with an alternative PowerPulse diesel option. The diesel variant will have a D5 turbo diesel powertrain.
The diesel powertrain will be offered in the European and Australian XC90 and S90. The PowerPulse compressed air in a reservoir and delivers timed pulses of air into the exhaust stream.
The V90 will also have the semi-autonomous driving technology called the Pilot Assist system. The Pilot Assist by Volvo is able to automatically steer to maintain its position.

The Pilot Assist system will be like autopilot for the highway which can. The system can accelerate to maintain a set cruising speed of up to 80 mph.
