French Archos announced a new smartphone to debut at the Mobile World Congress 2016.
At Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona Archos will debut the Archos Diamond 2 Plus Android Smartphone. The Archos Diamond 2 Plus features 4GB RAM and 64GB Flash priced at an affordable $229.

“With this Diamond smartphone, we’ve decided to offer functionalities consistent with consumer demands” says Loïc Poirier, ARCHOS’s CEO. “We want to be first with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB Flash at $229."
Other features of the new Archos smartphone include 4G octo-core LTE cat 6 Helio P10 processor from MediaTek, Full HD 5.5” IPS screen with curved edges (2.5D), wide angle 8MP front camera with flash combined with its 20.7 MP (Sony sensor) back camera, micro USB Type-C connector, fingerprint sensor and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Archos Archos Diamond 2 Plus is not the first 4GB Smartphone, but among the first. The low price combined with the 64GB storage and solid features make this an attractive Android phone.
The Archos Diamond 2 Plus will ship in May.
