The Oscars 2016 will be broadcasted live on TV and online. Additional content is available through the Oscars Backstage show.

The Oscars 2016 take place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood tonight. The 88th Academy Awards will be broadcasted live on ABC on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 7pm ET starting with the Oscars Red Carpet coverage.

The award ceremony kicks off at 8:30pm ET, hosted by comedian Chris Rock. His monologue will be the most anticipated in years because of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy. For the second time in a row no black person is nominated for an Oscar. Find out who is nominated in the Oscars 2016 Nominations List.

ABC will stream the Oscars 2016 live online, but the feed requires you cable provider account login and is available in Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco. ABC is not as proactive when it comes to cater to cord cutters as CBS. The Super Bowl 50 was streamed free online without cable subscriber requirements.

There will be a behind the scenes live broadcast available in addition to the main Oscars 2016 TV broadcast. The Oscars Backstage show will be streamed online on the site.

E!'s Oscars 2016 coverage begins Sunday at 1:30pm ET with Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2016 Academy Awards. The E! Online live stream starts at 5:25pm ET. at 5:30pm ET E!'s Live From the Red Carpet: The 2016 Academy Awards kicks off. E! is starts to report from the Oscars Red Carpet 90 minutes earlier than on ABC. Fans can extend the Red Carpet experience by first tuning in to E!.

After the Oscars 2016 Award ceremony ends Jimmy Kimmel takes over. The 11th annual Jimmy Kimmel Live!: After The Oscars special will air live after the late local news EST/CST and at 10 p.m. PST. Guest Ben Affleck, star of the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, will be in studio with the late-night host.

After the Jimmy Kimmel show Oscar fans can tune back into E! for the E! Live After Party at 11:45 p.m. ET.

The Revenant has the most nominations with 12. Leonardo DiCaprio is poised to get finally his first Oscar. Sylvester Stallone won the won the Golden Raspberry Redeemer Award last night, which should be the final clue for the Academy to give Sly his first Oscar as well.
