The invite letters does not disclose the unveiling event venue but says it will be in Southern California.
Recently Tesla Motors sent out invite letters for the unveiling of the Model 3. The letter suggests the unveiling will take place on the evening of March 31st in Los Angeles.
The exact location has not been disclosed and Southern California is the only hint. Many are presuming the event will take place at the Hawthorne Design Center. It is the site for previously hosted events such as the Model S unveil the battery swap demonstration, and the infamous ‘D event’.
The invitation letter was posted by Tesla Motors Club and Teslarati. This invitation is being offered as a prize in Tesla’s second Referral Program. Every owner responsible made 10 or more qualifying Model S referral sales were in the draw.
The sales had to take place by the end of 2016. The winners would receive an invitation for two to attend the highly anticipated Model 3 unveiling event.
From Elon Musk’s remarks we can expect the first images of the Model 3 to be unveiled. Not everything will be unveiled at the event, such as all the specifications and details. Musk personally announced all the details will only be unveiled near the production time of Model 3.
Since the invitations were sent out there has been frenzied excitement in the air of the auto industry. Musk previously also announced the Model 3 reservations would require a $1,000 deposit.

The deposits will begin online by March 31st in stores and online. Not much is known about Model 3 but speculations are always ripe. The Model 3 is expected to have over 200 miles of range and price tag of $35,000 before incentives.
