It is the first concept BMW concept for 2016 and will celebrate the auto maker’s 100th anniversary.

Today BMW just unveiled their first concept car for 2016 in Munich. The new futuristic concept called is called the ‘BMW VISION NEXT 100’.

According to BMW, the new concept has been designed to anticipate and respond to people’s future mobility needs. BMW believes in the future the vehicles will be completely self-driving.

So BMW is looking to work on the cars of the future. The new BMW VISION NEXT 100 concept also celebrates the 100th anniversary of BMW. 

The BMW VISION NEXT 100 has been designed keeping in mind all the trends and technological developments in future. According to Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design, the concept is how they will shape of the future.

The Press Release of the BMW VISION NEXT 100 states they will turn the driver into the Ultimate Driver. The BMW VISION NEXT 100 vehicles will be made with completely recycled or reusable materials.

The design of the concept vehicle consists of innovative lines while retaining trademark features. 

The new concept will consist of two new innovative modes. The modes are the Boost mode and the Ease mood. In the Boost mode the driver is at the controls, while in the Ease mode, the autonomous settings take over.

The BMW cars of the future will also feature a sensory and digital intelligence system called the Companion. The Companion will keep on learning to offer the car owner support to transform them ride into the Ultimate Driver.

The concept features an innovation called Alive Geometry, to enable driver-vehicle interaction. The Alive Geometry is a 3D system that will work both inside and outside the vehicle.
