The rumors about how the iPhone SE is going to look are going back and forth between iPhone 5S and iPhone 6S. A new report is saying that the iPhone SE looks almost identical to the iPhone 5S.

The iPhone SE announcement on March 21 could be the most exciting iPhone unveiling in years. We just do not know yet how the iPhone SE is going to look like. The past iPhone reveals have been boring because parts leaked ahead of the Apple media events that revealed the design of the new iPhone.

So far though there are no iPhone SE parts that have leaked revealing the iPhone SE design. The rumors about the iPhone SE design say everything from iPhone 5S to iPhone 6S. We spotted last week a case in Asia that bets on a mix of iPhone 5S and iPhone 6S design elements.

Now 9to5Mac, who leaked the iPhone SE name, has a new report that cites sources saying the iPhone SE looks almost identical to the iPhone 5S. The iPhone SE would be as boxy as the iPhone 5S and feature the same button arrangement.

The iPhone SE edges are supposed to be less shiny than those on the iPhone 5S. At this point there is no confirmation about the iPhone SE design. There are only 3 days until the Apple Media event. There is still a chance that the iPhone SE leaks before the March 21 event. So far only fake iPhone SE photos and videos are making their rounds on the web.

According to the latest iPhone SE rumors the new iPhone will be able to record 4K video like the iPhone 6S. Other features of the iPhone SE include Apple Pay, always-on Siri and Live Photos. The iPhone SE is believed to be powered by the latest chips including A9 and M9.

Analysts believe that the iPhone SE will be reasonably successful. One reason for that is that current iPhone 5S owners will be tempted to upgrade to the iPhone SE.

The Apple Media Event on March 21 at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino begins at 10am PDT. There will be a live online stream available of the event. Apple is expected to unveil the 4-inch iPhone SE, a new small iPad Pro and new Apple Watch models. Read the latest iPhone SE News.
