The line at the Tesla Motors store in Munich is not as crazy as in other regions, but there was sausage and beer for breakfast.
Tesla Model 3 pre-order has started at Tesla Motors retail locations around the world. Elon Musk will unveil the Model 3 on March 31st at 8:30pm PST. At this time the online pre-order for the Model 3 also starts.

I arrived at the line at the Tesla Motors store in Munich about 15 minutes before the doors open. The line was about 15m long and about 50 to 60 people strong. I heard that two hard-core Tesla fans spent the night. Most arrived in the early morning. The line did not get much longer around the time the store opened at 9am.
Telsa provided White sausage (weisswurst), pretzel and beer for the customers waiting in line in the morning. Don't expect that kind of treat in other Tesla stores. Beer and sausage for breakfast is only possible in Munich, Bavaria.
Once the doors opened at 9am, the Model 3 reservation process took about 4 minutes per person. I was at one of the three reservation sales representatives one hour after I arrived. See the photos from the line at the Tesla Store Muenchen, Blumenstrasse in the gallery.
I will describe the Model 3 reservation experience in an upcoming report. Update: Read how the Model 3 Reservation works.
It will be two years until I would potentially receive the car in Germany. Tesla starts the roll out in the United States first. The earliest delivery can customers living on the west coast expect.
