William Dafoe is the next confirmed star to be cast on the upcoming Justice League roster and in a positive role no less.
Marvel has done a great job of casting some of the best people in the right roles. One of those casting genius was proven when William Dafoe was cast in the first Tobey Maguire’s Spider Man trilogy movie as the Green Goblin.

Dafoe played the double faced Norman Osborn/ Green Goblin to such a perfection that many might have believed that he was made to play the part. Although he had played negative roles before, his role in Spider Man kind of cemented his feet in the bad guy genre.
DC Comics might want to differ from that verdict as it has been reported that Dafoe is the latest actor who has been cast in the Justice League line up, according to The Wrap.
After the release of Zac Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman this past month, DC Comic will be releasing Suicide Squad this summer and Wonder Woman is set to release next year but the fans are already eyeing the two major movies that will be coming after that. The sequel of the Batman vs. Superman showdown and the Justice League.
Although most of the characters for the Justice League are already confirmed just like the Avengers ensemble was in the form of Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg; there still remains a variety of characters that will need to be confirmed before the film starts shooting.
Already confirmed is J.K. Simmons to take the role of Detective James Gordon, previously played by Gary Oldman in the Dark Knight Trilogy. Simmons’ casting might also have been confirmed for appearing in the stand alone Batman movie that was announced.
