The 2016 Holiday Shopping season kicked off by Black Friday 2016 on November 25 will see deals in new product categories.
Virtual Reality is here with mobile VR, desktop VR and console VR. While Samsung's Gear VR was already a big hit during Black Friday last year, Black Friday 2016 will see the first Black Friday deals on desktop VR systems including the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. The dominating virtual reality system of the 2016 Holiday Shopping season will though be the Sony PlayStation VR.

If Sony can make enough of the PS VR headset then we will see the first deals on the $399 and $499 PS VR bundles. Retailers will very likely offer Black Friday 2016 deals on PS4 and PS VR headset bundles. Besides the hardware necessary for virtual reality, these bundles will including VR enabled games.
These bundles will be the most affordable entry into home virtual reality for the Holidays. Because of the attractive Sony PlayStation VR solution, there will be big savings on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
