There is no doubt that Huawei has been investing significantly in it's smart phones over the last couple of years. The company sold more than 100 million smartphones in 2015. This time around, Huawei is even better positioned to go beyond this figure.

Two devices namely, Huawei P9 and the economical Huawei 5C have made it this month already besides many others that are soon to be launched such as the Huawei Honor V9 and the Mighty Mate 9. It is also important to note that the Huawei Mate 8 was just launched a few months back and the new model rumors are already here.
Rumors for the specifications of the Huawei Kirin 960 chipset were leaked by Pan Jiutang yesterday which also asserted that Huawei Mate 9 will have this chipset in it. The Huawei Mate 9 shall hence be a pioneer since the Kirin 960 is better than 950 as it is has the ARMs Artemis and octa-core architecture.
It was also asserted that the Huawei Mate 9 would have 20 MP dual rare cameras. This is no news for the company since it has already launched the P9 with 12 MP cameras by Leica. This time though we still do not know if it comes from Leica or not but Huawei is surely looking forward with this partnership hence it might be so.

The Kirin 960 will also have Cat support along with 12 LTE speeds and CDMA networks making it the first true full netcom chipset from the flagship. An octa-core GPU is also expected to boost up graphics performance as well. The Mate 9 looks like a powerful which, looking at their timeline of launches might be coming to us somewhere in 2016’s late quarter.
