Finally a Lego Clean Up Solution That Works
Swoop Bag

Inside the parent mind. I feel kind of stupid to not have known about Swoop bags and similar products. My relationship with Lego just improved dramatically.

If you are a parent of kids that love Lego, you know the problem. After several hours of a creative Lego building session, the floor of the kids room is completely covered with Lego pieces. Cleaning up is time consuming and annoying especially if there is a long hair carpet in the room. At least once a week I cleaned up the Lego of my two sons, so the cleaning lady can do her job. I hated it.

Then I had one of those shower moments. Wouldn't it be great to have a blanket the kids play on and when done, you just fold up the blanket with all the Lego pieces on it. I went online and right away found these clean up bags, that do just that, but are even better than my simplistic idea. The Swoop Bag is one of these Lego Clean up solutions.

When opened the Swoop bag is a play mate with a 44-inch diameter. On the outer border a cord is integrated. Pulling it will close the blanket up like a bag and you can store all the spread out Lego in "one swoop."

There are different clean up bag on the market. What you should keep in mind is that it is used to play on. A nice material such as cotton makes that more enjoyable. I would not recommend plastic or nylon bags. See below the Swoop Bag in action.

The clean up bag saved my relationship with Lego. I love this toy. My sons spend most of their playtime with Lego building fantastic things. We introduced already a while back a storage system with small boxes to keep somewhat an order of the thousands of Lego that have amassed over the past years. All figures for instance are in one box and all black pieces in another.

The unsorted and "in play" Lego are now on the clean up bag that rests on the long hair carpet. I can't wait for the next time I need to clean up. It will be incredible.

Swoop offers a bags in different sizes and colors. The regular sized 44-inch Swoop bag sells for $48 on
